Television Vampires

Welcome to Angel's world - which is now in the city of angels - L.A.. David Boreanaz continues his role as the soulful vampire Angel, but has left Buffy in Sunnydale to help mere mortals in their sundry lives in the big city.

His first chance encounter is with Doyle, who is human on his mother's side, but demon on his father's. Doyle, played by Glenn Quinn, gets psychic flashes of women in peril, supplies the info to Angel who then tries to rescue the poor damsel in distress.

The next thing you know, Angel runs into none other than Sunnydale's own prom-queen wannabe, Cordelia Chase, a struggling L.A. actress. The first episode teams the unlikely trio up into a sort of private detective agency. Doyle finds the clients, Angel helps them and Cordelia bills them.

I make it out to seem very shallow, but the show is really great. It's darker than Buffy and certainly not as pop-culturish or funny. But, it stands on its own. I'm anxious to see what everyone else thinks of it.

I do not own any rights to the names, characters or even information on this site. That honor belongs to Joss Whedon, the WB, Fox, Sandollar and Mutant Enemy, etc....
